Food Trucks

Montréal is a culinary capital, mixing flavors and cuisines from around the world to create a unique cultural experience. At the 17th World Congress of Food Science and Technology & EXPO, we are proud to bring some of Montréal’s culinary excellence to you. Accessible, fast, affordable and exquisite, we invite you to try food from five of our favorite food trucks, exclusive to Montréal.

La Sandwicherie Zoe’s

Owned and operated by Cordon Bleu graduate Zoe Dalakas, Zoe’s will introduce you to a burst of Mediterranean flavors with sandwiches infused with Greek inspiration. On Monday and Tuesday treat yourself to their shrimp flatbread, topped with caviar mayo. On Wednesday be sure to try their famous cheese and poached fig sandwich.

Grumman 78

Historically founded in 2010, Grumman 78 was on the forefront of the street food movement in Montréal. The quirky lime green truck serves up Mexican inspired tacos, which are never strictly Mexican, pulling in elements from all corners of the world. Try their Taco Banh-mi and Taco Feta Pimenton, to get a Taco with a fiesta of flavors you can not find anywhere else.

Lucky’s

Inspired by fresh local ingredients, Lucky’s offers sandwiches which play on Dinner and Drive In classics. For a bit of excitement, try their small volcano chicken sandwich, erupting with their tangy house ranch dressing.

Gourmand Vagabond

The mission of Gourmand Vagabond is simple, they want all of Montréal to discover a different kind of sandwich. They use only the best ingredients and perfectly paired toppings, to take you on a culinary journey into the heart of Québec. Try their Shredded Turkey Sandwich to get a taste of Canada’s famous maple syrup.

Bagel St-Viateur

If there is one thing you can not leave Montréal without trying, it is one of our world famous bagels. Ask any Montréaler on the street where to find the best bagel, and they will point you to St-Viateur. Fear not, you don’t have to walk far, we’ve brought St-Viateur to you! Don’t be shy, also try their smoked meat with sweet mustard, another Montréal staple.

Tickets for the food trucks will be sold in the Exhibit Hall as of Sunday, August 17 at 18:30. All menu items are priced at 7$ or 14$. Visit Corinna and Macy to buy your tickets, ask them about their favorite menu items, and be sure to tell them about the wonderful food you got to experience in Montreal!
