About The Event
Give a Can...Give a Damn!
A Guinness World Record attempt at THE WORLD'S LONGEST LINE OF EDIBLE FOOD CANS hosted by the IUFoST 2014 World Congress Technology & Expo. All collected cans will be donated to Moisson Montréal.
Throughout four days, Montrealers and international participants will come together to set a world record for a good cause. The city-wide initiative takes place at the Palais des Congrès in Montreal, Canada on August 17-21, 2014. The target is 30,000 cans (~3km).

No, it’s open to everyone.
Is there an entrance fee required?
It’s absolutely FREE of charge
Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely. In fact, we hope you bring as many as you can! Setting a record for a cause is more fun when you have friends or family members to share the experience with.
Can I bring Cans on the event’s day?
Yes, but the deadline for collecting cans is August 20th.
What kinds of cans are being donated?
Only human-edible food cans like vegetables, beans, fish, soup, meat, legumes…etc.
Do I get a Guinness World Records Certificate of Participation?
Yes, we will send you the certificate’s code to your email after the event.
