The Industry Leader Summit will follow the Congress theme “Research that Resonates”. Four industry leaders will each give a 20 minute presentation on the importance of research to their company’s success and innovation strategy, such as for new products and processes, and what they see as research needs for the future. The presentations will be followed by an interactive panel discussion where audience members will be invited to participate.
Hear what industry experts from Nestlé, Coca-Cola and other companies have to say about the challenges their respective industries face and how the industry as a whole can work to achieve common goals.

Improving Food Security and Nutrition in Africa - A Look At an Innovative Public-Private PartnershipPartners in Food Solutions (PFS) is a nonprofit organization, founded by General Mills, that links the technical and business expertise of volunteer employees from General Mills, Cargill, Royal DSM and Bühler to small and growing food processors and millers in the developing world.
Working in partnership with USAID and implementing partner TechnoServe, PFS utilizes a remote knowledge transfer model to provide innovative technology and business solutions that empowers clients to produce high-quality, nutritious and safe foods at affordable prices while increasing the demand for the crops of the local smallholder farmers who supply those businesses.
